Hello!
I’m Katie Shanahan, an LA-based director and story artist. I’m currently co-directing The Twits for Netflix, based on the Roald Dahl book.
With over 15 years of experience in the animation industry, my previous credits include Centaurworld, Fairly OddParents, Max Steel, Wild Kratts and several Barbie movies.
Regarding my personal work: Collaborating frequently with my brother/writer Steven Shanahan, I co-created the Joe Shuster Award nominated comic "Silly Kingdom", illustrated a dozen short stories for published anthologies, and post goofy auto-bio webcomics online every now and again.
